AIM Among 2011 Best Places to Work Print E-mail

The AIM Institute is proud to be named one of the 2011 Best Places to Work in Omaha. The competition, sponsored by the Greater Omaha Chamber and Baird Holm LLP, is based on employee survey results and designed to measure satisfaction and engagement in the workplace. The award honors companies that have created positive work environments, recognizes and shares best practices and provides valuable feedback and data to participating companies. AIM was honored at the 2011 Best Places to Work Luncheon on May 5th at the Qwest Center Omaha.

Here’s what AIM employees had to say about why they like to work at AIM:

"AIM is a great place to work. I feel that the organization as a whole and the people as individuals care about me personally and professionally."

"The AIM Institute is a great place to work.  Lots of very talented people all focused on providing services in the area of Education and Workforce Development.  There is a tremendous energy that permeates day to day here at AIM, and it is reflected in the great work we do in the community.  I am proud to work at the AIM Institute and look forward to seeing the positive impact we have on our region in the coming years."

"AIM is truly the best place I have worked, including three fortune 500 companies.  The combination of mission and values with work ethic makes for a mighty impact."

"The AIM Institute is truly a great place to work!  It offers challenging and rewarding work in an environment that is very creative, collaborative and fun.  Of all the places I have worked in my career, AIM has personally provided me with the best opportunities for advancement and the best rewards - intrinsic and extrinsic.  I really enjoy working here and look forward to many more years of doing good things for our community while having a ball!  Where else in the City of Omaha would the CEO teach Zumba fitness classes for the staff during the day for free?!!!"

"AIM is a fantastic place to work.
This organization provides it's employees with with perks very few other organizations provide.  They respect their employees and value diversity and new ideas. The organization is just the right size to encourage a feeling of family and connectedness We all work really hard but at the same time, there is a sense of fun in what we do along with the knowledge that we are being rewarded with encouragement from manages and fair wages."

"AIM is a great place to work with very highly intelligent people at all levels."

"They work with me to figure out when deadlines need to be completed. Provide great feedback and give me general idea's on what they want from me, but still allow me to bring in my professional expertise."

"I think AIM provides the right level of autonomy.  We are allowed enough freedom to do our jobs but always have an open door if needed."

"AIM as a whole seems interested in helping employees grow. "

"AIM also realizes that employees have family life to balance.  Managers are flexible and understanding of these situations."

"They are very encouraging of my creative opinion.  AIM shows their appreciation verbally on a daily basis for the projects that I am apart of."
