A recent study suggests nearly a quarter of new viruses reach computers through USB devices such as cell phones, external hard drives, DVDs and flash memory, devices necessary to conduct business outside of the office. As we come to depend on these devices more and more in our day-to-day professional lives, organizations and employees must be made aware of the security risks and associated legal liabilities presented by mobile devices and their uses.
