Compassion Institute of the Midlands PDF Print E-mail

 

The Compassion Institute of the Midlands (CIM) supports faith-based and community-based nonprofit organizations within a 50-mile radius of Omaha. The CIM's support includes an array of training designed to enhance the capacity of Omaha-Council Bluffs metro nonprofits to achieve greater effectiveness and sustainability in their efforts to serve their constituencies. The training workshops address executive leadership, organization development, programming, revenue generation, and community engagement.

 

In addition to training, the CIM awards $200,000 annually to local nonprofit agencies to underwrite capacity-building activities and expenses. 

 

Funded by a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant, the CIM is managed by the AIM Institute and it's lead partner, the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands. For more information about how to participate in the capacity-building training workshops and how to apply for CIM grants:
