Program Overview
The Cisco Networking Academy Program is a comprehensive e-learning
program that provides students with the Internet technology skills
essential to participate in a global economy. The Networking Academy program delivers
web-based content, online assessment, student performance tracking,
hands-on labs, instructor training and support, and preparation for
industry-standard certifications. Launched in 1997, there are currently
over
10,000 Networking Academies in 149 countries. More than 400,000
students are
enrolled in Academies in high schools, colleges and universities,
technical schools, community-based organizations, and other educational
programs around the world.
AIM Institute is pleased to offer curriculum and training to 29
secondary and post-secondary educational institutions in Nebraska and
Iowa. AIM Institute is one of the largest regional academies in

Schools that become designated as Cisco Networking Academies contribute their expertise in teaching
and their facilities to deliver the high-quality Academy curriculum to

Created by industry and education professionals, the curriculum
prepares students for the demands of the workplace and motivates them
to continue their education and learning. Delivered globally in
multiple languages, the Academy program uses assessment data to adapt
and improve lessons, labs, and teacher training. The program recognizes
multiple learning styles of students with Web-based, multimedia
content; online assessment and evaluation throughout the course;
