College Bound Strategies Saturday Workshop is a HIT!

Students from AIM's College Bound Club (CBC) and College Access Program (CAP) joined together at the Strike Zone one recent Saturday for activities designed to build teamwork, leadership, and strategic thinking skills. Whether taking a turn in the batting cage or figuring out how to survive on a deserted island, each activity was designed to teach important lessons.

"While learning about leadership and teamwork, I was so focused on the activity that leadership and teamwork didn't enter my mind... I was into the fun of being together," one student said.

AIM hosts these events twice a year to help CBC and CAP students in the Council Bluffs and Papillion La Vista school districts stay connected to their peers in similar programs and learn new skills. Students participated in batting cage, Human Knot, Blind Ball Pick-Up, Deserted Island Survival Game
