As today's IT managers increasingly deal with the challenges of global competition and a changing workforce, effective management and leadership skills are needed more than ever. To address this growing need, the AIM Institute and its business members have collaborated to create an annual IT Leadership Academy. The goal of the academy organizers is to help IT managers develop and enhance their leadership skills to more fully leverage the talents and contributions of the local IT workforce and maximize its effectiveness. Steering Committee: AIM is coordinating the program under the guidance and direction of a volunteer Steering Committee, comprised of IT managers from small, medium, and large companies, representing the diverse industries in the region. Participants: Limited to 40 individuals who hold IT leadership/management positions and those who are expected to hold such positions in the future. Participants will be notified of their acceptance into the program by Wednesday, Oct. 1.
 

Tuition: For Orientation and seven monthly day-long seminars, tuition is:

Corporate Participants - Non-AIM Members

$3,250 

Corporate Participants - AIM Members 

$3,000 

Educational and Nonprofit Participants 

$2,000 


This fee includes all materials, Gallup's Clifton StrengthsFinder™ 2.0 assessment, refreshments (breakfast and lunch), local and national speakers, and access to unique leadership development activities and ongoing support that will lead to both substantive personal growth and a measurable impact on the sponsoring company. Participants will also receive complimentary registration to attend the AIM Institute's Fall IT Futures Forum, the Infotec Regional IT Conference, and the AIM Technology Banquet and Awards Celebration.
