Provide IT Leadership PDF Print E-mail

Since 1992, AIM has provided IT leadership to help position our community for future business and economic development opportunities in an information economy. We share our research, bring in nationally recognized guest speakers, and organize forums and conferences to help IT professionals and educators connect with each other and to consider new ways to apply IT.

We provide IT leadership through:

  • IT Leadership Academy – The AIM Institute and its business members have collaborated to create an annual IT Leadership Academy. The goal of the academy organizers is to help IT managers develop and enhance their leadership skills to more fully leverage the talents and contributions of the local IT workforce and maximize its effectiveness. • IT Futures Committee and Members Forums – The IT Futures Committee meets quarterly to identify IT trends and issues that we may wish to address through future Members Forums, programs, conferences, or research. Members Forums focus on technology topics and are intended to help members learn from experts and each other. Participation on the IT Futures Committee and attendance at Members Forums are open to all AIM members, and provide an opportunity to make connections with other area IT professionals and educators.  Learn More...
  • Research and Publications – To keep current with the dynamic environment in information technology, education, and economic development, we participate in a variety of research-oriented activities. Learn More...
  • Conferences – Our staff members participate in conferences and events throughout the region. We play key roles in organizing conferences that explore information technology, workforce development, and IT faculty development. Learn More...
  • Speakers Bureau – Our staff members are available to share their expertise in information technology, e-commerce, workforce recruitment, and career exploration. Learn More...
  • Technology Celebration Award Winners – Each year we host the Technology Celebration Banquet and Awards Ceremony to celebrate the robust and thriving technology industry in Nebraska and the surrounding region.
