Preparing
the next generation
MCIT exists to promote interest in and the study
of IT at all levels. Specifically, we assist community college faculty as they
prepare the next generation of employees with the vital technical and
non-technical skills the workplace demands today, and will continue to demand
well into the future.

Promoting
changes to meet tomorrow’s needs
The Center works on initiatives that promote
regional change and enable community colleges to address emerging technologies,
meet employers’ skill requirements, attract students — especially women and
students of color — to IT careers, and help all IT students successfully obtain
their goals.
