We work to identify the IT skills needed for
the region’s highest demand careers and adapt curriculum to provide the most
appropriate level of IT education to faculty and students.
Initiatives:
- Curriculum Adaptation Team – A regional Curriculum Adaptation Team (CAT), comprised of faculty from
each MCIT college as well as representatives from business and industry
collaborates to identify IT competencies needed in the region’s high demand
occupations and adapts curriculum accordingly.
- Identify IT Competencies – The CAT team identifies IT training requirements for those careers and
educational pathways that are in highest demand in the four-state region.
