TANN Robotics Competition – The Technology Academies of
Northeast Nebraska (TANN), a unique partnership of area high
schools and two colleges —
including MCIT partner Northeast Community College, is once again gearing up for
this
year's TANN Robotics Competitions. Designed to maximize
fun while helping students learn about science and technology, the two-tiered competition draws high school and college

Computer Camps Just for Girls – Now girls may
explore fun software tools and information technology careers at
camps designed just for them. MCIT partners offering girls camps
include:
- Central
Community College – High school girls are targeted at the annual Cyber Camp 4 Girls at
Central's Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings, Neb. campuses.
Activities include digital photo manipulation, programming, flash

- Southeast Technical Institute – Middle school girls in the Sioux
Falls area can get hands-on experience using animation, moviemaking,
programming and web development software. They also learn how to stay safe

Middle School Students Pumped by Exploration Day at NDSCS
