Given the increasingly challenging, complex and fast-paced environment in which IT operates, the need for effective leadership has never been greater. Authentic leadership is the cornerstone of building and sustaining high-performing IT organizations and teams. Yet IT executives, leaders, managers and project managers are finding themselves caught up in the same epidemic they have little time to lead because they are swallowed up in day-to-day tactics, fire fighting and increasing demands. At the same time, they are tethered to 24/7 cell phones, pagers and devices where immediate response time expectations have become the norm.
Although most leaders have great leadership intentions, the success deck has been stacked against them. When leaders fail to lead because there are simply not enough hours in the day, the impacts to IT's service, to IT's image, to morale can be tremendous.
Gwen Walsh's highly engaging, interactive executive briefing focuses on todays 12 leadership time challenges and what effective leaders are doing to gain back valuable leadership bandwidth! This briefing will share trends including the most common time robbers facing todays executives plus assessment tools and techniques that the participants can use to help them successfully conquer their own time challenges. Thats when the real future leadership work begins!
If you find yourself saying

- I have no time to meet with my customers.
- I have no time to communicate the way that I should.
- I have no time to do the heavy lifting solve our most pervasive problems.
- I have no time to coach and mentor my people.
- Everything is a #1 priority Im buried!
- I spend all day running from meeting to meeting I get nothing accomplished.
this is the session for you. You are not alone but rather in very good company with your fellow IT executives and seasoned technology leaders who have gained back control of their time with these tips and techniques.
