Students learned about different forms of communication from the Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and through visits to El Museo Latino and Loves Jazz and Arts Center. They learned about volunteering from speakers from the Omaha Mayor's Office and the Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross and spent time on cleanup projects at their school.
