This program serves a total of 600+students who attend Wilson Middle School and Thomas Jefferson High Schools. The program includes after school clubs at the middle school level such as:
1. MathCounts
2. Dollars and Cents (sense)
3. E-Sports
4. Dance Club
5. Outdoor Adventure
6. Art Club
7. Guitar Club
8. Peer Helpers Club
9. Solar Car Club
10. Pizza and Pages
Other middle school programs include
Summer residential leadership academy
- “Taking the Road Less Traveled” a non traditional career conference for girls at ISU
- “Celebrate Creativity” a one day career exploration conference at Joslyn Museum
- “Naturally 7” a musical performance at the Holland Performing Arts Center
- “Music Alive” a language arts and symphony production at the Holland Performing Arts Center
- Kobie Boykins, NASA Engineer and consultant to National Geographic on the Mars Rover and deep space exploration
Programs at the high school include:
- College Click – a year-long after school program for seniors who plan on attending college in the fall.. The program helps the students complete college applications, find scholarships and grant monies and explore various career fields
- Homework Help – a year-long tutoring program for students which is offered three nights
- ACT Preparation – This is offered to students in two Saturday sessions, prior to the ACT test
- Fieldtrips to colleges/universities and college and career fairs
- Summer Academy programs
- Speakers from UNO and NASA
