The Technology Company of the Year award recognizes a company or business for the delivery of outstanding technology or for the outstanding application of technology. Relevant criteria may include innovative ideas or implementations, business revenue, product/project deployment, continuing education programs, community service and strategic partnerships with area firms and educational institutions. A "technology company" is defined as receiving more than half of its revenue from technology products or services -or- as having more than half of the value-add to its corporate products coming from the application of technology.
