Angela Higg's Bio Print E-mail
Angela attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a degree in Secondary Science Education with a minor in Biology.  Angela then went on to attend the College of William & Mary to earn a Masters of Education in Science Education with an emphasis in Environmental Education.  Angela taught in public and private schools, at a university and for a local community college.  She spent summers working as a park naturalist in Virginia.  Angela has authored 5 books to assist elementary teachers with math instructions.   She has also assisted several state agencies in Virginia and Nebraska with developing and writing curriculum on environmental topics such as Litter Prevention; Boating Safety and Water Quality.  Angela relocated with her family to Nebraska in the summer of 2000.  Angela has two children who attend Papillion-LaVista schools.  As a family they enjoy camping, rock hounding and hiking.  At home, Angela is an avid reader and enjoys her new Nook.
