Dave Coover's Bio

Dave Coover is AIM Institute’s Director of Training and also administers AIM Institute’s Regional Cisco Academy. Dave came to AIM Institute in November 2002 from Omaha Public Schools where he served in roles as a Classroom Teacher, Department Chairman, Technology Coordinator, Network Administrator, and Student Recruitment Director. Dave graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1987) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. Dave also holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration (1994) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is certified as a Secondary Science Teacher and Secondary Principal. He retired from the Nebraska Air National Guard after 23 years of service, flying the RF-4C Phantom and the KC-135R refueling tanker. Dave is an active pilot with the Omaha Composite Civil Air Patrol squadron and is active in a variety of community and church activities. He is married and the proud father of two children, William and Jennifer.
