2007 High School Intern of the Year PDF Print E-mail

The Technology Celebration Award for High School Intern of the Year recognizes a high school student intern who has contributed substantially to his or her employing organization, has an excellent work ethic, and/or has superior technical skills deserving of recognition.

Scott Corey
Student
Papillion-La Vista High School

This year’s recipient for high school intern of the year is Scott Corey from Papillion-LaVista High School, shown accepting his award from Kandace Miller, President and CEO of the AIM Institute. Scott possesses a unique combination of technology skill and leadership ability.

Papillion-LaVista has a robotics engineering class and competitive team, of which Scott is an integral part.  His expertise in CAD drafting and engineering design raised the level of his classmates. Scott’s robotics team is full of intelligent students with excellent ideas. Often times, this talent can clash when trying to put the best program in place. Scott’s humble confidence and ability to synergize great ideas without harming the team’s spirit is exactly the type of leadership needed to bring his team together.

Thanks to his hard work both in class and with his teammates the AIM Institute is proud to recognize Scott as this year’s High School Intern of the Year!
