An Evening of Celebration

Five technology professionals, one firm, and two students were recognized for their contributions to the region’s technology industry at the AIM Institute’s Annual Technology Celebration Banquet held Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the Hilton Omaha.

Keynote Speaker: Daniel Burrus, one of the world's leading technology forecasters and business strategists, addressed the gathering of 465 area leaders as the evening’s keynote speaker. Burrus, author of six books including the highly acclaimed Technotrends, shared his techniques for visualizing the future.

 
Burrus peppered his lively presentation with anecdotes to show how the analysis of permanent, transformative trends can help organizations lay strategies with greater certainty and solve problems before they become problems.
